Boiler Operator

Trig Energy Services is currently accepting applications for an experienced Boiler Operator. This will be a full-time position based out of North Battleford, Saskatchewan, with competitive wages and benefit packages.

Note: The successful candidate will reside in or within commuting distance of North Battleford or Edam, Saskatchewan. This is not a camp position.

Qualifications

• Valid Boiler Operator Certification.

• Previous experience operating industrial, commercial, or high-pressure boiler systems.

• Strong understanding of boiler operations, controls, and safety procedures.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and operating procedures.

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call schedules if required.

• Must hold a Valid Class 1A or 3A drivers license with preference given to candidates with a clean abstract. 

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain boilers and associated equipment.

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

• Monitor pressure, temperature, water levels, and fuel consumption.

• Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues and system malfunctions.

• Maintain accurate operating logs and maintenance records.

• Conduct water treatment testing and adjustments as required.

• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and operational concerns.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

• Coordinate with maintenance personnel and contractors during repairs and shutdowns.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
