We are currently seeking a diligent and observant Safety Watch & Air Technician to join our team and help ensure the safety of our work sites.

Job Summary:
The Safety Watch is responsible for monitoring and maintaining safety standards at the job site. This role involves observing and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed, identifying and addressing potential hazards, and assisting in emergency response situations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and the ability to work in diverse and challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits of equipment, tools, and work practices.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, gas monitors, and barricades.
• Provide breathing air when needed 
• Respond to emergency situations, including administering first aid if necessary.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid first aid and CPR certification, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry and Monitor
• Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme weather and remote locations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
